I’ve been playing with broken glass for years. It’s a bit of an addiction, really. I started out taking a stained glass class my freshman year of college; from there I obtained a degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in copper foil stained glass technique. (Talk about a niche career path, eh?)
Post college, I worked for two different stained glass firms doing everything from restoration to new window designs and layouts. I’ve been running my own studio for the past several years. Most days I love it. Some days, like when I am single-handedly causing Johnson & Johnson’s stock prices to rise through sheer amounts of band-aid use, I still love it. Just not as much.
My blog is like me. Not always on topic, eminently interesting, and heavily seasoned with my own brand of humor. I hope you like it. If not, well, there are plenty of other bloggers out there. Go adopt one of them instead. Either way, may you and everyone you meet have a better day because of your paths crossing.
